Cedar Campus Family Camp 2008

We haven't blogged in SO long...sorry for the delay.  Our little guy is growing up so fast.  He's now looking us in the eyes and smiling back at us...its pretty cool.  We've been to Michigan and back and are headed to AZ this weekend.  What great adventures we are already having!  At family camp in Michigan Sage got to hang out with his Oma and Opa (Serena's parents, pictured in this blog), his Great Grandma and Grandpa (Serena's Grandparents), his Uncle Chris (Serena's brother), Aunt Christelle, and Cousins Emmy, Cami, Kateri, and Christian.  He also got to hang out with his Grandma (Dan's mom, pictured in upcoming blog), and Grandpa (Dan's dad, also in upcoming blog), and later on his Uncle Pete (sorry Pete, we don't have pictures yet).  

Dan and I had a blast finally having and being a family at family camp, we even got to sneak away for a kayak just the two of us =)

We are so in love with being a family of three these days.  This weekend we decided to take Sage to the pool, the hardest part was trying to find swimming trunks that fit him.  Out of three pairs of "newborn" board shorts only one seemed to semi-fit him, I think they would be more appropriately named - board pants.  Oh well we still had fun, Sage wasn't too sure about the cold water or being held by wet dad.  A few squirms in the water, followed by great moments of cuddling in the towel =)  We love being parents!

Just some more photos of the big guy.   He's sleeping really well at night now, thanks to pointers from some friends...its all about the swaddle and white noise!  We love Sage!

Sage is 5 days old!

Sage is five days old today and couldn't be healthier.  We went to our first doctor's visit and he has already gained two ounces from his birth weight!  He is doing wonderfully well and we are completely in love with him =)  Here's some more pics from the past few days, we'll try and keep posting more in our "free time" in between feedings, diapers, and naps.

We came home on Saturday and it felt SO good.  We've had lots of friends come over to say hi. Sage is doing really well...he's eating and sleeping tons...now if we could just get him to sleep at night.   Sleep is overrated!  We're so in love with the little guy!

Welcome World!

Hey everyone!  Welcome our son Sage Jameson Bos.  He was born at 4:45 on Thursday, July 17. 7lbs. 6oz.  Serena was AMAZING.  18 hours of labor all completely natural.  Here's some initial pics...sure to be more soon.  Thanks for your prayers, can't wait for you to meet him....yeah, he's a pretty big deal.

Happy 4th of July everyone!  Dan and I enjoyed some time at the beach and a trip to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley.  We didn't realize they were having a special holiday celebration at the museum so not only did we get to tour Air Force One but we got free watermelon, and birthday cake! =)  I've also included some pics from my last week at Hearts.  It's fly season and the horses look so cute in their new fly gear.
