Sage's dedication

Sage was dedicated this past Sunday at church. What a gift it is to have Sage in our lives and what an awesome opportunity we have to teach him about Christ. Please join with us in praying that Sage would come to know Jesus soon and that we as parents would have the grace, mercy, and strength to do our best in serving Jesus as we love and teach our son. The verse we picked out for Sage is this, we pray that Jesus "would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." Ephesians 3:16-19

I can't resist...he's just so cute =)

Hiking

A couple weekends ago we decided to try out a new local hike, Rattlesnake Canyon (sounds exciting huh?)! It was perfect weather and the hike was awesome. Sage tried out his new backpack and LOVED it =) During the first part of the hike we walked through some of the burn area from the Montecito Tea fire, within about ten minutes we were back in the woods walking along a fairly full creek. It was a great day.

Rollin' in the grass

Sage absolutely LOVES being outside, here's a few pics of him playing in the grass at the beach campground lawn.

Bos Christmas in Michigan

Sorry this took so long but here are some pics from our time with Dan's family in Michigan. Sage had his first trip to the pool, even though it was freezing outside it was nice and balmy inside and Sage had a blast. On New Year's Eve we all bundled up to run a 5k with Dan's mom through downtown Holland, Sage was quite the trooper =) We also had a great dinner with Dan's dad and Erika. Thanks family for the great visit!

Sage dancing in the Christmas lights

Christmas 2008

We had a great time traveling back home to Chicago and Michigan for Christmas. Sage experienced what it's like to have to bundle up just to get outside (he wasn't too much of a fan) and he got to see his first snow. Thanks family for such a wonderful time! (Bos family, your pics are coming)
